Erectile dysfunction is on the rise among men today due to many factors bordering on lifestyle or health condition. Statistics have it that 5 in every 100 men between the age of 30 to 40 suffer from impotency while the number rises to 20 as the age approaches 60 to 65 years. ED we all know is curable but guiding against it and prevent it from happening by following some preventive measures.

Major Causes of ED and How to Prevent It.

Diabetes
There is the need for every man to monitor his blood sugar and keep it in control to avoid it hitting the dangerous mark. A good blood sugar level helps in keeping the blood vessels in your body in top shape for optimal performance and reducing the risk of diabetes which leads to erectile dysfunction.

Obesity
Obesity causes vascular disease that in turn affects the blood vessels. it is importance work on weight in healthy way to reduce the risk of over weight and also prevent ED.

Lifestyle.
How we live definitely affects our health and it advisable to maintain a balance between exercise, nutrition and sleep.

Good exercise - will surely go along way in helping reduce the risk of ED as there is optimal circulation of oxygen to all parts of the body during exercise.

Nutrition – Eat foods that are rich in Vitamin E, Zinc and Arginine. While Vitamin E increases flow of blood, Zinc increases testosterone levels and Arginine helps in producing nitric oxide that keeps blood vessels relaxed.

Sleep - It is during sleep that the body rebuilds and rest, it is important to get at least 8 hours sleep in a day.

Water - The intake of water is essential to healthy living. Make sure you have at least 8 glasses of water every day to keep fit.

Avoid Anxiety - Always take time to relax as tense men find it difficult to have or sustain erection. Putting aside anxiety and tension and having mind that you must make the most of what you have, will help you relax and enjoy your sexual life.
